Finally, I had arrived in London and was reunited with my birdie! I happily handed over the heaviest suitcase and we took off for the flat and to get lunch. Guess who was surprised at the weight of the luggage? HA!

London was bright, sunny and warm which surprised me. We power walked to the flat, dropped of the suitcases and headed to China Town for lunch.

The Dim Sum was delicious and I was starving. I caught up on what was happening in the world of my young adult, showered her with hugs and kisses and leisurely returned to the flat.

Now I had a chance to look around and I caught a glimpse of home on a side street.

After quickly gorging on cookies, birdie left to go to class and I tried to settle in and unpack. This time I fell asleep on the sofa.
