Who loves a game of chance? I do! Each time I travel to a state or country that has a lottery, I make SURE I play. You can’t win if you don’t play, right? So far I have won $4.00 which is barely enough to buy a Chai latte in London. But I justify my lottery love by reminding myself that I no longer drink, don’t shop and the lottery is strictly a fun travel thing I like do. I budget for lottery tickets just like I budget for entry fees.

New Adventure Opps is a newsletter I publish each Friday featuring travel related sweepstakes and freebies. I want to win a trip around the world and I enter every travel lottery that might allow me to do so. I’ve also received free travel sized samples (they keep me on #TeamCarryon) and a few years ago I was supposed to receive a free meal prep kit. I had a feeling I wouldn’t get it, and I didn’t, but that didn’t stop me from entering the contest.
