Orchard Thieves Cider was the last alcoholic beverage I consumed in Ireland. I think I had three but I really don’t remember. The cider is like an elevated carbonated apple juice cocktail: sweet and bubbly then sneakily strong, especially for a non-drinker like me. It was delicious and refreshing and I could have drank many many more.
I continue to wonder if I’ll imbibe when I return to Ireland or if I’ll remain on the teetotaler wagon. This hard cider is certainly a drink I’d like to revisit, but without the hangover, and I’m not sure if I can have both. However, I would recommend it to anyone who gets the chance to enjoy it. But may be you should leave the glasses on the table so you can count how many you’ve had. That’s what I should have done!
Thanks again to Marguerite at J.M Reidy’s who was so much fun and entertaining! The Orchard Thieves Cider was the right recommendation.
