I thought this drink was some type of sweet tea. I’d slurped down four of these anonymous drinks before they hit me. Hard. I had to ask what was in them and when I was told “Jameson” I had to ask what that was. Jameson is Irish whiskey and when combined with ginger ale and lemon, it is delicious! The type of delicious that makes me warm on the inside, thirsty for more and fuzzy in the head.

I don’t remember how many I drank after the first four but it was probably several more making this another “first” for me: Jameson Drunk! I don’t recommend ever getting drunk but I will say this drink is perfect in moderation. Thank goodness Susan Baughman from Today In Ireland offered to deliver me safely to my hostel. Otherwise I believe I’d have passed out somewhere in Killarney and died of exposure. Or maybe not, with my hot flashes. So THANK YOU Susan for saving my ass!
